Spelling for April 14th

One bright and sunny day I was a helper at my grandma's. It was unfair because my cousin was sitting out. I went out of the garden and met a friendly old lady. She offered me hospitality. I went into the cave and sat in the most comfortable chair. She gave me a sip of what she said was called Hosinpose potion. I dozed off but apparently saw a green witch!

"I can remake the future," said a voice. I was careful and hopeful another thing would would come charging at me. "I can retell the future," said the voice. I sadly grinned. I thought of the farmer who made me smile. I knew everything was going to be alright. I was unhurt.

A beautiful blue witch with goldish green hands came in and she said, "Are you deaf? Come on, she's coming. Get the invisible potion!".

"Which one?" I asked.

"Get the one that has bent but rejoined". said the Witch. "The spell was probably unfinished".

I was unimportant right then. I felt very uncomfortable. We landed in the lake. The witch fell down. She landed in the water. She sank. It was unbelievable and we returned home at last.

Chloe is My Name

I am named after my grandma Isabelle. Isabelle is my middle name. Isabel is a Spanish version of Elizabeth. Isabelle, the way my middle name is spelled, is a French version of Isabel. My grandma Isabelle is part French and part Gypsy and part English (so then I am too). She loves to read about the Queens and Kings of England and so do I. I went to England with my grandma and it was really fun. It is good that I am named after Isabelle because everyone says that I am a lot like her. I like that people say that because my grandma Isabelle is one of my favorite people.

My first name, Chloe, means life, or blooming, or green shoot, in Greek. I got my name from my mom and dad. I love my name. I will never change it. It is a really fun name because it fits me perfectly.

My nickname is Scooger because my Dad's nickname is Scooter. I love my nickname because my Dad calls me by it all the time.
